Industrial applications
Genestar™ (PA9T) is a polyamide-based engineering plastic available in grades that comply with certifications required for faucet components and food-contact related parts.
In applications such as valve components, it offers an excellent balance of dimensional stability and hot-water resistance. Its fast solidification behavior also helps suppress flash, enabling shorter molding cycles and contributing to lower overall production costs.
POINT01 Hot-Water Resistance
Genestar™ (PA9T) combines low moisture absorption with a high glass transition temperature, delivering excellent resistance to hot water among polyamide resins. Even in hot-water environments, it helps retain mechanical strength and contributes to improved long-term durability of parts.
POINT02 Low Flash
Genestar™ (PA9T) solidifies quickly, helping to minimize flash during molding. By reducing the need for deburring, it supports shorter molding cycles, improved productivity, and lower processing costs.
Typical Applications
Faucet Components
With excellent hot-water resistance and low-flash performance, it is well suited for valve components used in and around faucets.
Beverage Equipment Components
