Exhibiting at The Battery Show Europe 2026, One of Europe's Largest Advanced Battery Technology Exhibitions
The Genestar Division of Kuraray Co., Ltd. will exhibit at The Battery Show Europe 2026, one of Europe's largest advanced battery technology exhibitions, to be held in Stuttgart, Germany from June 9 to 11, 2026.
At this exhibition, the Genestar Division will focus on thermal management, safety in high-voltage components, and long-term reliability, which are becoming increasingly important for battery peripheral components as electric vehicles move toward higher capacity, faster charging, and higher voltage. We will present material solutions based on Genestar™ PA9T, a high heat-resistant polyamide.
1. Exhibit Details
At the Kuraray booth, the Genestar Division will present the features of Genestar™ PA9T for two key themes in battery peripheral components: high-voltage applications and thermal management.
For high-voltage applications, we will exhibit a surface-mount technology (SMT) compatible high-voltage connector using a V-0 grade. By utilizing the high heat resistance, low water absorption, electrical insulation properties, and tracking resistance of Genestar™ PA9T, this solution contributes to the safety, reliability, and downsizing required for next-generation battery systems.
For thermal management, we will exhibit a coolant control valve using an HB grade. Visitors will be able to see an application example that utilizes the chemical resistance, hydrolysis resistance, low water absorption, and dimensional stability of Genestar™ PA9T in components that come into contact with coolant, glycol, and other media.
